  • What Are Mala Beads?
    Sacred Buddhist mala beads have been used for centuries by many spiritual traditions as a tool to help to calm the mind, center oneself and connect the best that is within us. "Mala" means "meditation garland" in Sanskrit. "Japa" means to repeat a mantra or prayer. Mala Beads are a strand of 108 beads traditionally used in Buddhist and Hindu practices of meditation and prayer.

  • Are your gemstones genuine/natural?
    Yes, all of our gemstones are 100% genuine, but many of our stones are enhanced in some way by the manufacturer (which is typical for the entire gemstone industry).
  • How Much Do You Charge For Shipping?
    We are currently offering recommended delivery by the Czech post office for 80 CZK for all CR based orders. For orders worth more 2 000 CZK delivery is free. For International orders we always disscuss the price for shipping in advance with the customer.
  • How Are Orders Shipped?
    Orders are shipped primarily via Czech post office, but depending on the inquiry of the customer, orders can be shipped via UPS, DHL or FedEx or other carriers of choice.
  • How Quickly Are Orders Shipped?
    If an item is in stock, the delivery time is 2-3 working days from the day we receive the payment. The delivery time of an item to be ordered is 20 - 30 days from the day we receive the payment. An email with tracking information is provided for your convenience after the order is shipped.
  • What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

  • Where are you located at?
    We are in Prague, Czech Republic.
  • Do you have a store in Prague?
    No, we do not have a shop but our mala studio is in Prague 3. It is possible to visit our studio by appointment.
  • What Is Your Return Policy?

  • What Do I Do If I Have A Problem With My Order?

  • Can I Buy An Item Which Is Sold?
    Yes, it is possible. Only the delivery date depends on whether the beads are in stock. Please be kind to contact us on: japamalapraha@gmail.com.
  • Should I Be Careful While Wearing Your Jewelry?
    Exposure to water, lotions, body oils, cosmetics, perfumes, excessive heat and humidity and cleaning agents may cause discoloration and affect the finish of the jewelry.
  • How Should I Store Your Malas?
    When you are not wearing our Malas, they should be hung somewhere to avoid damaging the tassels.
